Job Description
Wizz Air is seeking a Forecasting Manager to join its team in Budapest. The role is responsible for coordinating and developing the airline's revenue forecasting processes, modelling revenue outlooks, and establishing long-term route-level forecasts.
The Forecasting Manager will lead the revenue budgeting process and work closely with Network, Data Science, and Pricing & Revenue Management teams to improve forecasting accuracy and support revenue and capacity optimization.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and develop the airline's revenue forecasting procedures.
Model revenue outlooks using forward bookings and sales trends.
Develop long-term route-level forecasts using regression models and macroeconomic factors.
Lead the revenue budgeting process.
Work with the Network team on capacity optimization and simulate the revenue impact of different capacity scenarios.
Collaborate with the Data Science team to improve forecasting accuracy and establish systematic forecasting processes.
Work with Pricing & Revenue Management teams to incorporate market insights and pricing actions into forecasting models.
Experience:
3–5+ years of overall professional experience.
At least 2 years of experience in forecasting and modelling.
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree.
